Lab now supporting COVID-19 testing efforts in response to the pandemic

Our team has over 20 years of experience building and operating high-complexity CLIA laboratories. Members of our team have brought multiple tests to market, particularly novel prostate cancer diagnostics. We are closely affiliated with the University of Michigan.

If you have been tested using our services and have questions, please see our FAQ.

LynxDx, a biotechnology startup, is committed to the health of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have focused our diagnostic laboratory to provide testing at-scale, particularly for our most vulnerable and high-risk populations.

What is LynxDx?

LynxDx is a prostate cancer diagnostics lab based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. To assist in the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic, LynxDx has re-focused our clinical laboratory to offer diagnostic COVID-19 testing.

What COVID-19 test are you performing?

We are using the FDA-approved Thermo Fisher qPCR test.

Do you do onsite testing for COVID-19?

We are working now to tailor our operation to the needs of any clients. We have currently been focusing on setting up onsite testing at nursing facilities (i.e., sending someone from our team to do the swabbing / collection). We have the collection kits and can mail out with return labels if there is a collection infrastructure already in place elsewhere.

How long does it take to get results?

24-48 hours depending on when we receive the samples

What lab capacity can you allocate per week (tests per week)?

We can perform 6,000-10,000 tests per week.

What is the cost of the tests?

In most cases, COVID-19 testing is reimbursable by insurance providers. The cash pay amount is $154.
