Lynx Dx President Steve Riggs Named Finalist for the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2023 Michigan and Northwest Ohio

Entrepreneur Of The Year celebrates ambitious entrepreneurs who are building bolder futures

ANN ARBOR, MI – Lynx Dx, an Ann Arbor-based biotech startup and developers of the revolutionary MyProstateScore 2.0 (MPS2), announces that President Steve Riggs has been named as an Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2023 Michigan and Northwest Ohio Finalist. Now in its 37th year, Entrepreneur Of The Year is one of the preeminent competitive business awards for transformative entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies who are building a more equitable, sustainable and prosperous world for all.

Riggs was selected by an independent panel of judges. Entrepreneurs were evaluated based on their demonstration of building long-term value through entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth, and impact, among other core contributions and attributes.

Lynx Dx began operations in 2020 with a focus on improving prostate cancer screening. Using a urine-based diagnostic test originated in a research lab at the University of Michigan, the company developed MyProstateScore 2.0. MPS2 is a non-invasive, data-driven, urine prostate cancer screening test that provides highly accurate, stratified risk assessment insights to guide clinical decisions for patients with elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA) or abnormal digital rectal exam (DRE) findings. By using the MPS2 assessment, physicians are able to more accurately inform their patients whether or not a clinically relevant cancer is present, or if their elevated PSA score was the result of other factors.

Regional EOY award winners will be announced on June 21, 2023 during a special celebration. The winners will then be considered by the national judges for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards, which will be presented in November at the annual Strategic Growth Forum®, one of the nation’s most prestigious gatherings of high-growth, market-leading companies. The Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner will then move on to compete for the World Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award in June 2024.
